Krowwn Barber Academy is a hands-on barber training school located in Mobile, Alabama, dedicated to preparing students for successful careers in the barbering industry. Our program focuses on core barbering techniques, professional development, and business skills, while preparing students to sit for the Alabama State Barber Licensing Exam. Students gain real-world experience by providing services in our student barbershop under the supervision of licensed instructors.

Program Offered
• Barber Program: 1,500 hours of training covering haircutting, shaving, styling, and professional barbering skills. The program is typically completed in 8–10 months.

Prerequisites
• Must be at least 16 years old to apply
• High school diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in high school
• Valid government-issued photo ID
• Completion of the academy application
• Accepted students who complete enrollment documents will begin classes in March

After Completion
Graduates are prepared to take the Alabama State Barber Licensing Exam and begin working professionally in the barbering field.

This program is designed for licensed cosmetologists who want to learn specific barbering skills, such as men’s barbering, men’s styling, shaving, trending techniques, and more. With our curriculum, students can graduate from this program with 500 hours and in as little as six months.

Once students have learned the latest skills and techniques of the barbering world, they'll be able to take what they've learned and apply it to real clients. All of these services will be performed in our student barbershop, under the direct supervision of licensed instructors. This will allow you to experience what a career path could look like after graduation and give you first-hand knowledge and practical experience.
